Drop Shoulder
A sleeve style where the shoulder seam sits lower toward the arm than the actual tip of the shoulder bone
A form made so that the shoulder seam connecting the sleeve and the body drops down toward the arm past the actual tip of the shoulder bone. The actual shoulder width measurement of the garment is designed wider than standard body dimensions, and it is mainly applied when creating loose-fit or boxy-fit silhouettes.

The shoulder seam is located on the upper arm rather than the shoulder point at the end of the collarbone. It is typical for the shoulder line to extend far outward and fall downward, with the armhole circumference and chest width also cut widely.
Use
It is widely used in relaxed-fit T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, drop-shoulder coats, and more. It is mainly used in casual garments made without shoulder pads so the fabric drapes downward along the body shape.
When choosing
The shoulder width on the actual size chart is marked 5 to 10cm or more larger than the actual body dimension. Because the shoulder line drops downward, the sleeve length is sometimes designed shorter; therefore, estimating the total sleeve length by the sleeve-from-center-back measurement (from the center of the neck to the end of the sleeve) is accurate.
