A processing technique of imprinting letters or patterns onto fabric surfaces using dyes or pigments
Unlike dip dyeing, which soaks the entire fabric in dye, this method directly imprints dyes or pigments onto specific areas of cloth to express letters or graphic patterns. The standard Korean term is 'nalyeom', and it broadly refers to methods that place pigment or absorb ink into fibers using frames or stencils, much like printmaking.

Logo printLOGO PRINTAppearance
Rubber printing, where pigment sits on the fiber surface, creates a noticeable thin rubber film feel with distinct edges. Methods where dye penetrates into the fibers maintain the fabric's original texture without unevenness, and printing using reflective pigments reflects brightly when illuminated in dark areas.
Use
It is commonly used when imprinting graphics, brand logos, or care labels directly onto the fabric of T-shirts and sweatshirts. Various textures and visual effects can be achieved depending on the coating materials used, such as applying thick rubber-based pigments or reflective pigments that reflect light.
Care
Printed areas where a coating film has formed on the surface can melt or crack if exposed to the high heat of clothes dryers or irons. To prevent damage, garments should be turned inside out and washed in cold water, and one should avoid ironing directly over the graphics by using a pressing cloth or ironing from the inside of the garment.
