80-year tradition enamel material

Made by NODA HORO, a Japanese enamel specialty brand with an 80-year history. Combining an enamel body with a non-toxic EVA lid, it stores food hygienically.

Side handle that is easy to hold

With a handle attached to the side of the body, it can be lifted stably without shaking even when filled with contents.

Direct flame heating and dishwasher support

The body supports direct heat sources such as gas and highlights, as well as dishwasher use. The lid is not dishwasher safe, so only put the body in for care.

Support for heated cooking and washing

The body can be cooked over direct flame or in an oven, and can be washed in a dishwasher. By removing the lid, you can go from prep to heating without transferring dishes.

0.8L to 2.4L capacity

It comes in three sizes from 0.8L to 2.4L. You can select and use one according to the amount of vegetables you prep or the volume of ingredients to store.

Official certification from the Enamel Association

The red S sticker affixed to the bottom confirms official certification from the Japan Enamel Association.

Direct fire cooking and dishwasher use

The enamel body can be placed directly over the heat of a gas stove or radiant cooktop to warm up, and it can be washed in a dishwasher. The lid cannot be used over direct heat or in a dishwasher.

Side handle that assists with moving

A handle is attached to the side of the body, allowing you to hold it stably when adding contents or moving it from over the heat to somewhere else.

Two sizes tailored to your needs

You can choose between the 1L size S and the 1.5L size L according to the quantity you need.

Ceramic bowl that collects moisture

It comes with a perforated ceramic bowl that collects residual moisture coming from vegetables.

Sizes differentiated by the presence of a handle

The S size with a 3.2L capacity does not have a handle, while the L size with a 5.8L capacity comes with a handle.

Separate conditions of use for the body and the lid

The enamel body is safe for direct flame and dishwasher use, but direct flame and dishwasher use are restricted for the EVA resin lid.

Versatile heated cooking

It can be cooked over direct fire and in the oven, allowing it to be used like a pan, and can be washed in a dishwasher after use. However, it cannot be used on induction cooktops or in microwaves.

Enamel and stainless steel strainer

By layering the 18-8 stainless steel strainer onto the enamel tray, it can be used to catch oil or as a cooling rack.

Toaster-exclusive size

The size 21 tray and strainer fit properly into the Balmuda toaster, making them good for roasted dishes.
