Can all NODA HORO enamel containers be placed directly on fire or in an oven for cooking?
The user wants to confirm the heating capabilities of each product to see if enamel containers can be used like pots to reheat directly over a gas flame.
The main body of the White Series can be placed on fire or in an oven, but the TUTU round storage container cannot be used on direct fire or in an oven, so their uses differ.
The White Series goes on the flame, while the TUTU stays on the storage shelf. Even among enamel containers from the same NODA HORO, their heat tolerance ranges differ. Enamel is inherently quite heat-resistant because a glass glaze is baked onto an iron surface, but whether a piece can be heated depends on the container's build and intended design.
The White Series are cooking containers. For both the round and square containers, the body itself can be heated directly on a gas flame, radiant cooktop, or inside an oven[1][2]. They are also dishwasher safe[3][4]. You can store food in the refrigerator and, without needing to transfer it to another pot, place the container itself directly over heat to bring it to a boil. However, the accompanying lids cannot withstand the heat of direct flame, ovens, or dishwashers, so they must be removed before heating[5].
On the other hand, the TUTU round storage container must be kept away from heat. Not only the lid, but even the body cannot be heated over direct flame, in an oven, or on an induction cooktop or microwave[6]. Since it is not meant to be placed over heat instead of a pot, it should be used as a storage vessel kept on a shelf for dry ingredients such as coffee beans or salt.

Whether the main body of the White Series containers can be used on induction has not yet been confirmed.
