This is an induction-compatible earthenware pot, but can it be used on all induction cooktops?

IH refers to the induction heating method where coils beneath the cooktop surface create an electromagnetic field to directly heat the bottom of the cookware itself. Igamono's IH premium steam earthenware pot is designed to be used widely not only on direct gas flame but also on cooktops of this induction heating method^[1]. Supporting both 100V and 200V voltage environments, it is compatible without difficulty in general household settings^[2].

However, it does not boil the same way on all induction cooktops. Earthenware shaped from clay originally lacks magnetism, so a separate heating element is bonded to the bottom to receive the induced current. Because of this, on specific induction cooktops that distinguish cookware through sensors solely by detecting iron pots to which magnets stick firmly, low-frequency appliances, or early older models, the appliance may fail to recognize the cookware even when placed on it^[3].

Before use, it is safer to check the cooktop's surface guide or manual to confirm whether the product operates only in a magnetic cookware-only mode before cooking.
