Why does it say to only wipe the leather room shoes with a dry cloth and no leather conditioner?
Because it is leather that has absorbed plenty of beef tallow during the tanning process and has sufficient oils of its own, it is recommended to wipe it only with a dry cloth without adding cream.
Usually, dedicated creams are applied to leather products to replenish oils and prevent drying, but for room shoes from ARTS&SCIENCE, a single dry cloth is enough.
