What is the difference between the M and L sizes among the stainless ladle options?

The handle length is the same, and the width and depth of the head are different^[1]. Between the M and L sizes to choose from in Sori Yanagi's stainless steel ladle, the handle length is identical, but there is a difference in the width and depth of the head that serves food^[2]. The M size measures W29.5×D8.5cm with a weight of 145g, and the L size measures W32.2×D9.5cm with a weight of 155g^[3][4].

These differences in specifications lead to practical cooking uses. The M size, with a compact head width and depth, is well-suited for lightly using when boiling everyday soups or stews and serving them into bowls; the L size, with a wider and deeper head, makes it easy to generously scoop at once while cooking large quantities of broth dishes such as hot pots or hearty soups. Unlike the separately provided S size, which measures W22.8×D7.1cm with a weight of 85g and is used as a serving ladle on the dining table, both options are closer to cooking purposes in front of a pot^[5][6][7].

hmmm, since the feel of holding the handle is the same, it is good to choose according to the pot size you mainly use and the amount of broth you want to scoop at once.
