What difference does the drawstring-free hood design make in actual wear?
When looking at a design that omits the drawstring commonly seen on hoodies, one wonders what kind of difference it makes to the fit or silhouette. This question aims to verify how the cropped slim fit and the hood without strings come together.
Because there are no drawstrings to droop or tangle, the neckline is neatly organized, and together with the cropped slim fit, the upper body falls lightly and concisely.
Hood drawstrings originally refer to strings tightened to bring the hood close to the head to block rain and wind.
The neckline becomes concise. OUTDOORSERVICE boldly removed the drawstrings and placed only a kangaroo pocket on the front, neatly organizing the visual elements on the front of the upper body[1]. There is no hassle of strings dangling or coming out during washing, and strings do not get caught between zippers or buttons when layering inside outerwear.
It also leads directly to the proportions of the silhouette. This garment takes on a cropped slim fit that has a short length of 60.5cm total length and a neatly set width[2][3]. hmmm, if long strings were draped over a structure where the hem ends lightly around the waistline, attention could easily be dispersed, but omitting the strings holds the upper body line neatly together.
The fabric uses 100% cotton cotton fleece[4]. Fleece knit is a knitted fabric made with a soft texture on the inside to hold air, offering light yet cozy warmth. After completing the garment, a washing process was carried out to relieve stiffness and bring out a soft feel[5], and a fine-cracked vintage crack graphic was placed on the chest to reduce monotony[6].

Aside from the washing process, the recommended care methods for washing and drying or specific shrinkage rate standards have not yet been confirmed.
