What should I do with the cover made from the cut original painting once the inner pages are all used up?
Since the cover is made by directly cutting original artwork, I want to keep it, but I am concerned that I might end up having to throw the cover away too once the notebook is completely used.
After using it up, you can continue to use it by visiting the store or sending it by delivery to replace only the inner paper with new sheets.
The binding form cannot be changed, but the inner paper can be replaced as much as you like. For this finished notebook from Kakimori, you cannot change the horizontal or vertical orientation, the ring binding method, or the hardware colors[1]. This is because, unlike custom notebooks assembled according to a customer's order, it comes already fully bound[2]. Instead, after filling up the inner paper, you can visit the store in person or send it by delivery to replace only the inner pages with new ones[3].
The cover is special. An original painting newly drawn by artist Saki Tanaka was cut to make the cover, and each individual sheet bears the artist's handwritten signature[4]. The overlapping ink where brushes and pens passed, along with the thick texture formed by hardened paint, are directly revealed on the exterior surface[5].
The standard inner pages are also solid. Inside, 51 sheets of BANK PAPER grid paper are bound[6]. It is a paper favored by fountain pen enthusiasts due to minimal ink bleed-through, fully supporting the writing experience. It is designed so that you can keep the cover beside you for a long time by replacing only the inner pages without damaging the artwork.

The specific replacement costs and the types of paper available to choose from when replacing the inner pages have not yet been confirmed.
