Can I put food in it and cook it directly in the microwave or oven?

HORIE TOUKI food container and bowl products are microwave- and dishwasher-safe^[1][2]. On the other hand, they cannot be used in ovens, over direct heat like gas stoves or highlight burners, or on induction cooktops^[3][4][5]. This means you can conveniently warm stored food in the microwave or wash them in a dishwasher after meals, but you cannot put the dish itself over fire or in an oven to use it like cooking utensils.

In general, porcelain is stable under microwave moisture heating methods, but when exposed to direct high heat such as direct flame or an oven, there is a risk of cracking or breaking due to rapid thermal expansion. It is suitable to use for holding already cooked food, serving it at the table, and lightly warming it before eating.
