If I spill a beverage on a white lounge chair, will it leave a stain?

Before buying a light-colored seat, people worry about maintenance first. Many readers want to know how to deal with spilled coffee or juice before making a purchase.

hmmm editorial answer

Stains on the WHITE seat can be removed by rubbing with a soft cloth dampened with water, and it is better to wipe them quickly because leaving them for a long time can cause discoloration.

Easy-clean refers to a finish designed so that the surface can be wiped clean using only a water-dampened cloth without a separate detergent. The white seat of LEFF's LC02 lounge chair corresponds to this, so if a stain occurs, you rub and remove it with a soft cloth dampened with water^[1].

However, there is one condition. If stains are left for a long time, the color may change, so the darker the stain, the better it is to wipe it off quickly^[2]. The seat is a fabric made of a blend of 93% polyester and 7% cotton^[3]. In general, polyester does not absorb moisture well, so spilled liquid tends to stay on the surface for a moment rather than soaking in right away, giving room for an initial response.

In a real-life situation, the order is important. If you spill a beverage, the general method is to first press with a dry cloth or paper towel to absorb as much liquid as possible, and then wipe with a water-dampened cloth, narrowing from the outside inward. If you rub from the beginning, the stain tends to spread sideways. The BLACK option chosen for the same chair has its upholstery section made of synthetic leather^[4], and generally, this kind of surface has a coating layer, so liquids do not soak inside and can be cleaned simply by wiping.

hmmm, the term easy-clean is closer to an expression with the condition that it leaves no trace if wiped in time, rather than meaning that stains do not occur at all.
