Please recommend oxford shirts that are easy and comfortable to wear every day when heading to class now that semester 2 has started.

I picked three shirts that are great for carrying a bag and easily throwing on every day starting from the first week of the semester: MOONDAL's Low Shirt in White and Classic Lounge Shirt in White, and LOW CLASSIC's Oversized Cotton Shirt_Navy. I was drawn first to those with roomy cuts and less worry about wrinkling so they won't cling to your body when walking up and down campus hills.

The name oxford originated from four fabrics designed by a 19th-century Scottish textile mill, named after four prestigious universities in the UK and the US. Cambridge, Harvard, and Yale fabrics launched alongside it failed to catch on in the market and quickly vanished. Only the oxford fabric—woven with two strands of yarn crossing each other, making it exceptionally durable and wrinkle-resistant—survived, establishing itself as everyday wear for American college students.

Born with a weave meant to endure the rough daily lives of students, there is nothing quite like it for wearing hard all semester long. Shall we try one of these three first, narrow our criteria to around KRW 100,000, or look for more blue or navy options?

↳ Around KRW 100,000

I found three shirts suited for easy layering within a budget of around KRW 100,000: AMOMENTO's square pocket oversized shirts, light blue and square pocket oversized shirts, burgundy, which feature a generous fit and neat pockets, and Centaur's STRIPE SLIM PK SHIRTS_SKY BLUE, which neatly accentuates the body line.

Burgundy is a color named after the deep red wine produced in the Burgundy region of France. As wine spread across Europe in the late 19th century, it began to be used as a major color in clothing, symbolizing aristocratic elegance and refined authority by expressing subtle sophistication. Whenever the chilly winds blow, it steadily holds its place as a color that conveys distinctive depth and intellectual warmth.

Both deep wine shades suited for cooler seasons and neat blue tones are great for adding weight to an otherwise plain outfit. We could narrow it down to oversized fit shirts that comfortably drape over the body, stick to light blue shades, or broaden our view up to the KRW 150,000 range. Which direction shall we turn to next?

↳ View only oversized fit shirts

I picked three shirts with an oversized fit that comfortably drapes over the body: AMOMENTO's square pocket oversized shirts, light blue and square pocket oversized shirts, burgundy, and MOONDAL's Classic Lounge Shirt in White. While roomy shirts look neat buttoned up, more and more people these days casually toss them on like light outerwear between seasons.

The sturdy cotton poplin we often touch in shirts was originally a luxury fabric first woven for the pope during the 14th-century Avignon Papacy. Named papelino after 'papa,' meaning pope, it was a precious textile made by intertwining silk and wool, used for altars and priestly vestments back then. Later, after moving to England and switching its weaving technique to sturdy cotton yarns, it finally settled down as the standard fabric for the shirts we wear every day.

All three shirts on the list are filled mainly with neat basic colors. Shall we add some liveliness with check patterns, or browse through navy options or other clothes priced at KRW 150,000 and above?
