Why are two widths, 14cm and 41cm, listed for the My Journal cover?
Because the widths are listed side by side in the diary dimension guide, it is difficult to tell which state was measured. It also makes one wonder how the cover size relates to the number of notebooks that can be stored.
14cm is the width when the diary is closed and 41cm is the total length when the cover is unfolded, and 2 or more notebooks can be inserted and used via the internal banding.
In the My Journal dimension specifications, you first encounter the two numbers 14cm and 41cm[1]. The preceding 14cm is the horizontal width when the cover is fully closed[2]. The subsequent 41cm refers to the total length measured from end to end when unfolded long on the floor, all the way to the YEOMIM closure flap[3]. The vertical height is 18cm and the weight is 110g[4]. It is a B6 size diary specification suitable for carrying lightly in hand[5][6].
Inside the cover, there is a banding structure that holds notebooks in place[7]. One lined notebook is included as a standard component[8]. This banding holds notebooks stably, and up to 2 or more notebooks can be stacked and stored[9]. This means you can use one notebook for daily journaling and divide the other for work schedules, carrying them inserted in the banding[10]. Thanks to the generous flap that reaches 41cm when unfolded, you can close the cover securely even if it becomes thick with additional notebooks[11][12].

We have not yet confirmed the maximum thickness of notebooks that can be inserted alongside the standard lined notebook, or whether the brand's dedicated refill notebooks are sold additionally.
