Is there a reason why the ladle head is oval-shaped instead of round?
Seeing the oval shape, which is different from typical round ladles, makes me wonder what advantages it offers when cooking.
It is designed in an oval shape so you can neatly scoop out broth without the ladle edge bumping against or catching on the rim and bottom of the pot.
While typical ladles have a round, hemispherical shape, the ladle from Kajidonya has a gentle oval shape that widens to the sides. This shape is designed to reduce interference so that it does not bump or slip when touching the bottom corners and side rims of the pot, naturally gathering and scooping up even the broth and solid ingredients thinly spread across the bottom of the pot[1].
The ladle bowl and handle are finished in a seamless, one-piece structure[2]. Because there is no joint gap in the handle, food residue or grease does not get caught, making washing and maintenance hygienic. The material used is 18-8 stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance[3]. Containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel, 18-8 stainless steel is a kitchen material that does not rust easily even when exposed to water and salt.
hmmm, the smooth feeling of use—scooping without scratching the bottom of the pot or spilling broth—comes from the finely curved design of the ladle head.

Official standards regarding dishwasher safety or recommended drying methods have not yet been confirmed.
