While using the diffuser, the clear liquid is becoming stained a dark color; can I continue to use it as it is?
When you see the liquid turn cloudy brown after placing rattan sticks in clear diffuser solution, it is easy to worry that the solution has gone bad or that there is an issue with the scent diffusion.
This is a natural phenomenon where the natural dye from the rattan sticks seeps into the liquid, and because it does not affect the fragrance or diffusion quality, you may use it with peace of mind.
It is clear and transparent at first, but turns dark brown over time. Natural dyeing, which colors the plant stems of rattan, does not apply a thick artificial coating, so pigment can slowly seep out when it comes into contact with liquid.
It is a natural process. Because JACKSON CHAMELEON's Bahn | Reed Diffuser and exclusive rattan reeds are made through a natural dyeing process, some of the dye soaked into the reeds may bleed into the liquid during use[1][2]. Even if the outward color darkens, it does not affect the diffuser's original fragrance and diffusion quality[3][4].
Since the liquid has not deteriorated, there is no need to pour out the liquid or discard the reeds; you can simply leave and use it as you originally did until all of the diffuser liquid is consumed.

Whether the dye gets onto hands or nearby trays/coasters when flipping or touching the reeds has not been confirmed yet.
