Can I store the Metal Cap Server filled with a beverage on its side on a refrigerator shelf?

The intended use of this container is revealed by the 40℃ heat-resistance standard of the packing inside the lid^[1]. While the exterior of the lid is finished with stainless steel (SUS304) and the interior uses polypropylene that withstands 90℃, the polyethylene packing supporting the rim is designed to withstand only up to 40℃^[2].

This combination of parts merely serves to cover the beverage to keep dust out, and is not an airtight design that completely blocks internal liquid and air. The moment the container is tilted or laid on its side, the contents will leak through the gaps in the lid, so it must be used standing upright with the bottom down^[3]. Rather than laying it on its side on a deep refrigerator shelf, it should be handled for pouring beverages while kept properly upright in a door compartment or on a table.
