What role does the wooden box included instead of paper packaging play in the Pergram Box?
Looking at the contents of the Pergram Box and seeing a wooden box included along with the soap, one wonders whether it is simply disposable packaging or an item with other uses.
The wooden box included with the Pergram Box serves as a storage box that can be used continuously in daily life, instead of packaging that is thrown away after a single use.
The first thing that catches the eye in the Pergram Box is the wooden box wrapped around the outside. The components revealed in official materials regarding this package are concise: soap and the wooden box, these two items are everything[1]. Unlike typical disposable paper or plastic packaging, the box itself is bundled as a complete, single object.
Hanahzo directly produces sustainable objects under the motto 'Pause Your Life'[2]. The reason for choosing solid wood material instead of packaging that is easily torn and discarded is also connected to this. Even after the soap is taken out and used, the wooden box is not thrown away, seamlessly transitioning into an organizer for gathering desk accessories or small everyday items.
hmmm, this is a way of letting an object's usefulness remain long in everyday life even after the soap is gone.
The specific type of wood used for the wooden box or its surface finish method has not yet been confirmed.
