When ordering a Settle Sofa, are the left and right direction options based on standing and looking at it, or based on when you are seated on it?
When arranging a sofa in a living room, depending on whether it is from the perspective of facing it or sitting on it, the positions of armrests or corners completely reverse, causing confusion in selection.
The left and right options for the Settle Sofa are distinguished based on the side where the armrest or corner is placed when directly seated on it, not when facing the sofa from the outside.
When choosing flat point's Settle Sofa, you encounter items that determine the left and right directions for each option. From standalone modules to 3-person sofas and corner configurations, there is only one standard dividing the directions.
The body of the person directly seated is the standard. When choosing Armrest 1 or Armrest 2 in the module options, if the armrest comes to the left when sitting on the sofa, it is the left direction, and if it touches the right, it becomes the right direction[1]. Similarly, in the 3-person sofa option, if Armrest 1 is placed on the left when seated, you choose the left direction, and if it is placed on the right, you choose the right direction[2]. For the L-shaped 3-person corner option as well, it is distinguished as the left direction if the corner goes to the left when seated, and as the right direction if it goes to the right[3].
If you choose while facing the sofa from the outside, the arrangement will be reversed. This is because what was on the left when standing and looking becomes the right when sitting. Even when picturing living room walkways or window positions in your mind in advance, you need to picture the posture of sitting with your back against the sofa to configure the living room in the desired shape.

It has not yet been confirmed whether modules with designated left and right directions can be rearranged by changing directions later after purchase.
