There are air bubbles on the sole of my new shoes and the logo looks blurry; is it defective?
This is a moment when you receive new shoes and inspect the soles, only to wonder if there is an issue with the product because the surface is uneven or the logo is not sharp.
This occurs because a thin film is attached to protect the sole; once you peel off this plastic film, you will be able to see the originally smooth sole surface and clear markings.
It is an awkward moment when you open the box and see the bottom of the shoes. A thin protective film is attached to the sole of heels from AMOMENTO to prevent scratches that may occur during transportation and storage[1].
The fine bubbles visible on the bottom surface or the foggy appearance of the logo are natural states caused by this plastic layer, rather than flaws in the leather itself[2]. In general, the transparent film on shoe soles lightly covers the surface, which can cause trapped air in unadhered gaps or refract light, making the letters appear less sharp. If you gently lift the corner and peel off the film before wearing, it returns to the originally clean sole condition[3].
Generally, protective films on leather soles must be peeled off completely before wearing them outside to reduce slipping.
