How is 'CB Sleeve Length' shown in the size chart different from just 'Sleeve Length'?

I looked at the size chart to check the sleeve length, but depending on the product, the item name is either CB Sleeve Length or Sleeve Length. I cannot tell whether they are the same sleeve length or measured differently.

Curved Silhouette Cardigan, Black
Mock Neck Raglan T-shirt, Brown

CB is an abbreviation for Center Back, indicating that the sleeve was measured from the center back neck rather than the shoulder tip[1].

There is more than one way to measure sleeve length. For clothes with clear shoulder seams, you can measure from the shoulder tip to the wrist, but for clothes with diagonal shoulder lines like raglan or drop shoulders, it becomes ambiguous where that tip should be. Therefore, a method is used where the starting point is taken at the center back neck and measured all at once past the shoulder to the sleeve tip. What CB refers to is precisely that center back neck, Center Back[2].

AMOMENTO explains this abbreviation in a single line below the size chart and repeats the same guidance on multiple product pages[3][4][5]. Conversely, there are also charts without CB attached. For size M of Mock Neck Raglan T-shirt, Brown, the item listed as total length 62.2, chest 47, sleeve length 51.1, hem 54 is Sleeve Length[6]. Curved Silhouette Cardigan, Black likewise shows size 0 as 58 and size 1 as 59 under the Sleeve Length item[7].

Since both notations are mixed, when comparing sleeve dimensions, it is safer to match the item name before the numbers. This is because depending on whether the starting point is the center back neck or the shoulder tip, the resulting value differs even for the same garment.
