Since there is no separate elastic band, how is the waist held in place?
This question arises when it is difficult to determine whether the pants will slip down or stretch out easily after seeing the description that there is no separate waist band.
Instead of inserting a separate elastic band inside the waist, elastic yarn is blended in, and the waist circumference is directly knitted into a firm structure to hold it in place.
While typical pants have a separate elastic band sewn into the inside of the waist, these clothes do not have an attached elastic band[1]. The fabric itself takes on the role of a waistband.
The entire waist circumference is knitted into a structure that expands and contracts solely through the interweaving of threads[2]. By blending 2% polyurethane, which provides elasticity, with acrylic and nylon fibers, it wraps softly around the waist and does not slip down, without relying on extra materials[3]. It touches the waistline smoothly, without the stiff tightening unique to elastic bands or the discomfort of a band twisting inside.
Below the waistline, a vertical ribbed structure with furrows descends to form a wide silhouette[4]. Because it continues as a single knit structure from waist to ankle without catching tucks, the texture does not become disordered and settles down calmly.

The criteria for whether the waist knit structure maintains its original elasticity even after frequent wear and washing have not yet been confirmed.
